The mood of a MONDAY morning wasn’t usual.. As Bea opened her eyes she was greeted by an anonymous text message...there was also a MISSED CALL.. from the same number that texted her.
Bea wondered why she felt a bit nervous upon reading the messages but she preferred to ignore the feeling and proceeded to her preparation for another school day..
While she was waiting for her service vehicle going to school..another text message came which says.."how's life? Its been a very long time ".. Again, that unexplained feeling filled her heart and made her ask herself who the texter might be..
Then her celfone rang and she answered it hastily..The voice on the other end was very familiar but she pretended not to appear too excited and plainly asked the caller “who is this?”..
The voice was so familiar that made her feel like she was dreaming..when the caller said who he is.... Bea was shocked but kept her cool..her heart beats as it did 10 years ago..its like the voice of an angel who came from her long lost past.. the voice she dreamt of hearing once more for so long a time..He said he is Fernan.. she knows 3 Fernan's at that time so she proceeded to ask him..” Fernan who? Not because it doesn’t sound familiar but because the Fernan that came to her mind is impossible to be the one calling as it has been 10 years since she last saw him...
But there he was.. talking to her again after so many years.. He said he is Fernan Vergara.. Bea was smiling while they exchange updates about their lives.. but she doesn’t mind the details so much.. the joy of hearing the voice was so overwhelming.. it was as if she was dreaming..
And what could be more important than hearing the voice of a person she has loved all her life? It was the very first love she had ever known.. the love she will never forget..
The conversation was suddenly over.. but the smile was still on her face..and her heart was full of joy.. it doesn’t happen everyday.. the voice of an angel was heard on a sunny Monday morning..it was the day when a part of her past came back.. as if THAT PAST was JUST YESTERDAY.. That angel was her life, her love, her everything..
It's not an ordinary Monday for Bea.. The ANGEL of her life came back.. with THAT VOICE that made her heart fell.. It reminds her of the best part of her childhood life.. the joy of loving for the first time and the pain of loosing the person she loved so much when Fernan just went away without bidding goodbye to study at a far away place. Fernan was her angel..who always gave her company whenever the whole world seemed to fall apart..After spending their elementary days together..they drifted apart as they entered their first year in highschool and never got the chance to see each other again..The pain of loosing her first love was too much for Bea and made her decide not to enter into any relationship during high school..She tried loving a few good men when she entered college but her relationships never lasted as there was a space in her heart that longed for someone she never got to see again...
The pain then maybe too much for Bea to bear..But in the deepest corner of her heart., her love for Fernan remained...And now that she heard his voice once again..the only thing that matters to her is.. Her ANGEL is back!
